In the first pot, it's hard to know if I'm good or not. A case can be made to play this a number of different ways.

The second hand I had raised the cutoff in a semi-steal as I do so often, so remember he called a raise preflop in his blind with 93. He obviously believes (correctly) that I am full of shit and wants to play some bad hands with me out of position (probably a mistake). He probably should have played the flop differently. The thing is, he does NOT know that I will pay him off if he catches, as is demonstrated by this hand because had I not caught my lucky Q I probably would have checked it down and folded.

First hand, you are good by the turn. 5:1 pot. Don't know why you make the 7:1 call with mid pair on the flop. But, if dummy thinks you are going to fold there, he hasn't played with you long. Next time you see him you might thank him for his 4$ river donation and priors on the second hand. Only reason he is there is because he is about 2:1 that his spades will hold and he already knows you will pay him off if he catches.
